CELEBRATE IN FOYLESIDE THIS ST PATRICK’S DAY

On Tuesday 17th March, Foyleside Shopping Centre will celebrate St Patrick’s Day with traditional Irish dancing spectacles for shoppers to revel in.

Shoppers can experience a traditional Irish welcome in the Centre with Irish dancing and music throughout the day.

Between 12 noon-1pm, the talented Cullen School of Dance will kick-off the celebrations in the Centre. The City Centre Carnival Parade commences at 2pm and then, from 3-4pm, the acclaimed seven-time Ulster champion Christina Deery’s Irish Dance Academy will keep the St Patrick’s Day spirit (and the kicks!) high.

Fergal Rafferty, Centre Manager of Foyleside, said: “Foyleside during St Patrick’s Day is always a special time, and what better way to celebrate this momentous day than with traditional Irish dancing and music! St Patrick’s Day always brings a great buzz to Derry – therefore shining a spotlight on these talented local dancers for shoppers to appreciate and enjoy is a wonderful way to honour the day.”

With over 50 big brand stores, convenient parking and a warm family-friendly atmosphere, Foyleside is the perfect place to celebrate St Patrick’s Day.  For more information, please visit www.foyleside.co.uk.
