Da Vinci’s Hotel creates 30 new jobs with the opening of new restaurant Caterina’s.



Da Vinci’s Hotel has just opened it’s new restaurant Caterina’s bistro.  The £400,000 investment by The Garvan O’Doherty Group in this restaurant has created 30 new jobs across kitchen and front-of-house departments.  The restaurant has a 90 seat capacity.

Designed, supplied & fitted out by local companies, acute attention has been paid to every aspect of the new design to create an atmospheric luxury space.

General manager Olga Henry said ‘At Da Vinci’s Hotel we are delighted to be opening the doors to an exciting new dimension of our food and beverage offerings.  Caterina’s bistro is the first step in our strategy to deliver market-leading hospitality in Derry.  Caterina’s is for all occasions from a casual brunch, business lunch meeting to a special meal with friends or family.

Caterina’s will offer customers brunch from 10am-3pm, lunch from 12.30pm-3pm & dinner from 3pm-9.30pm, served 7 days a week.  The menu focuses on carefully locally sourced produce.’

This new restaurant is named after Leonardo Da Vinci’s mother Caterina di Meo Lippi.
