Last night saw a back-and-forth battle between the Belfast Giants and Coventry Blaze, with the visitors narrowly edging out the hosts in an intense game (4-6). Despite the result, the Giants showed heart and determination throughout, giving fans plenty to cheer about at the SSE Arena.
Game Highlights:
• P.O. Morin gave the Giants an early lead, followed quickly by Ben Lake capitalizing on a rebound (2-0).
• The Blaze responded with goals from Chase Gresock and a relentless second-period effort that saw the game tied 3-3 heading into the final period.
• Scott Conway shined with a stunning solo goal and later leveled the game again (4-4) with a power play strike, but Coventry sealed the win with a late goal and an empty-netter.
While it wasn’t the outcome we hoped for, the Giants’ resilience and the roaring support from the home crowd were unforgettable.
