It was Big, Bold, and Beautiful: BOOBIE Bollywood, Belfast! The most dazzling event to hit Belfast this summer….where over £8,000 was raised for Marie Curie, NICFC and Arts Ekta
Organised by the infamous Boobie Nights committee, and held in the urban and modern surroundings of the MAC, the Bollywood-style party, over two floors as well as outside the building in the stunning Saint Anne’s Square was a visual extravaganza. With generous local sponsorship by Davy, Haldane Fisher, IA Cubed and Igzibit and two headline raffle prizes put up by The Hideaways Club (4 double bedroom luxury villa in Mauritius, 7 night stay) and Kildare Village VIP Shopping experience (including €500 voucher to spend)
This is the fourth event the BOOBIE Nights Committee has organised, following on from the very successful BOOBIE Bond, Summer BOOBIE-Q and BOOBIE BURNS EVE; events which have seen the committee donate £120,000 to local charities.
Lesley Wright, Hospice Fundraiser at Marie Curie, said: “I would like to express our sincere thanks to the BOOBIE Nights Committee for their support to date; we had every confidence that BOOBIE Bollywood would be a hugely successful and fun event.
“An event of this scale involves hard work, dedication and commitment and it really is very much appreciated by patients who will reap the benefits of nursing care locally”.
