To many Northern Irish folk it’s the seaside town that holds childhood memories of eating ice cream and going for a paddle in the Pickie Pool.
But it seems Bangor has been hiding a saucy secret….
The Co Down town has been named the UK’s sexiest – because its residents apparently spend the most on spicing up their sex lives.
Research by adult entertainment website Lovehoney has revealed where in the UK people are spending the most on their bedroom antics.
And, according to the site, people in Bangor spend 6.7 times the national average.
The town is closely followed by Newtownards, which ranks as the third sexiest town, and Newry, which is placed seventh.
