Avicii has announced that he’ll headline an open-air show at Marlay Park in Dublin next July.

The dance/electronic music megastar will be supported by one of the best new bands in the UK, Rudimental, so it’s going to be an awesome show.

Some of the awards he has received include Best Electronic Act at MTV  European Music Awards 2013, World’s Best Electronic Dance Artist at The World Music Awards 2014 and Top Dance / Electronic Song at Billboard Music Awards 2014 . Avicii’s second albumTrue was released last December. Last week it was confirmed that Avicii’s hit single Wake Me Up was the most ‘Shazammed’ track of all time.

Rudimental’s platinum selling debut album Home, has spawned five huge hit singles (including two UK Number Ones with Feel The Love and Waiting All Night), seeing them shift over three million singles worldwide, while their highly acclaimed videos have racked up over 183 million views on their YouTube channel. Waiting All Night alone has clocked up over 100 million streams on Spotify. Rudimental have also toured the world and smashed it at every festival worthy of the name, including The Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury and Longitude last summer.
