£60 for a six-course meal for two at La Bastille Restaurant – valued up to £120. Thats 50% saving!!
This Gallic-themed restaurant boasts an intimate and cosy vibe. Every detail of this superb restaurant is thoughtfully attended, leaving you to revel in the chef’s excellent taste as you savour every bite.
The menu focuses on seasonal, French-influenced fare. The six courses are carefully selected to enhance and satisfy your appetite – you’ll begin with a Kir apertif and crusty French bread.
Entres and mains follow where exquisite meat and seafood dishes make regular appearances. There are heavenly choices like Filet de Saumon grille(grilled salmon, vegetables, potatoes, mussels, white wine broth and basil butter) and Rosette d’agneau (lamb rosette served with pea and mint puree, crispy potatoes with port and fig reduction).
Desserts strike the same rustic-refined balance as the rest of the food. Among the indulgent pleasures are mousse au chocolat (chocolate mousse with crushed biscuit and cherry gel).
This is truly a meal worth celebrating.
