Today, Team GB announced that Aimee Fuller will represent the Team in PyeongChang for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games.

Team GB’s squad for PyeongChang 2018 has a record number of 59 skiers and snowboarders, with Fuller being the only Winter Olympian from Northern Ireland.

This will be Fuller’s second Olympic Games having competed in Sochi in 2014. PyeongChang will see Fuller compete in both the Snowboard Slopestyle and Big Air. In Fuller’s last 10 competitions, she has earned four World Cup top five finishes and already has two career top 10s in Big Air.

With 14 days to go, Fuller is focused:

I’m so excited to be going back to my second games. I’m four years older and four years wiser. I’m feeling stronger, both physically and mentally, on and off my board and I’m ready to challenge for a position in the finals!”

The Winter Olympics begin on the 9th February and run right through until the 25th. UK Sport has set a target of five medals in PyeongChang and believes up to 10 medals could be won.
