12:30pm – Six Nations Rugby kicks off today, with the big match. Wales vs Ireland. So head to Cutters Wharf for lunch and get two courses for £15 and watch all the action on the big screens.

If rugby isn’t your thing, then visit the Ulster Museum, and see The Red Shoes – Film Screening. A digitally remastered 1948 film.

3:00pm – Have you tried Bubble tea? The Little Cupcake Cafe, Bedford Street
So what is Bubble Tea? Basically its like a mix between a milkshake, a smoothie and an iced tea. You have to try it!

3:30pm – Jump on a Red sightseeing Belfast bus and take a tour of the city. Visit places you’ve never been including the newly opened Crumlin Road Gaol. Drop in to the Titanic centre for a visit then visit the Dock cafe. A pop-up cafe with a difference the cafe has an honesty box instead of a till. Which means you can choose how much you want to pay for your coffee, tea, biscuit or sandwiches.

5:30pm – A little bit of jazz heaven can be found at McHugh’s Bar this afternoon. Featuring the astonishing US vocalist Dana Masters and fellow American, saxophone sensation Meilana Gillard. The pair are backed by some of Northern Ireland’s best jazzers including drummer Steve Davis, pianist Scott Flanigan, bass player Carl Harvey and trumpeter Linley Hamilton. 9pm to midnight she performs with the Paul McIntyre Jazz Trio at Berts Jazz Bar.

10:00pm – End your night in Belfast’s lavish Café Vaudeville. Housed in a neo-classical former bank on Arthur Street, inside the bar the decor is rich and opulent but not ridiculously so, and the atmosphere lively and warm. By day it operates as a coffeehouse, but come evening and things heat up considerably, with DJs providing the music and a selection of fantastic drinks; the door staff are regarded as some of the most efficient and friendly in the city. If you’re able to, be sure to check out the upstairs ‘Bolli’ Bar, an invite only champagne lounge, serving the signature fizz in a suitably opulent setting.

Whatever you do this weekend – Enjoy!
