  • New sensory rooms will open in TUI BLUE hotels in Dalaman and Antalya, Turkey, and Aeneas, Cyprus, and will help support neurodivergent guests and their families
  • Staff at both hotels will also receive enhanced neurodiversity awareness training
  • Expansion follows the success of TUI’s first sensory rooms launched in 2025

TUI is expanding its accessible travel offering with two new sensory rooms set to open at TUI BLUE hotels from March 2026, designed to better support neurodivergent guests and their families.

The sensory room in TUI BLUE Palm Garden, Antalya, Turkey will open on 23rd March, followed closely by the TUI BLUE Tropical in Dalaman, Turkey which will open on 30th March. There will also be a new sensory room opening at TUI BLUE Atlantica Aeneas Resort inCyprus which will open on March 26th, 2026. The opening of these sensory rooms follows the introduction of sensory rooms to TUI BLUE Aura, Ibiza, and TUI BLUE Nausicaa Beach in Larnaca, Cyprus last year.

Sensory rooms are specially designed spaces that provide a calming, low-stimulation environment for guests who may feel overwhelmed by busy or unfamiliar surroundings. They feature elements such as soft lighting, interactive sensory equipment or quiet zones to encourage relaxation and make holidays more enjoyable for the whole family.

Last year’s launch of the sensory rooms produced strong customer feedback, with those who utilised the rooms saying they were a great space that was helpful for neurodivergent guests and families. One customer said: “Knowing this facility is on site really has made a difference with my daughter having autism. It has provided a relaxing and calming space.”

The new sensory rooms will be open from March 2026 and will be able for guests to use throughout their stay. In addition to the sensory rooms, across all TUI BLUE hotels with a Kids Club, families can expect a consistent, inclusive approach that supports neurodiverse needs through TUI’s partnership with SENNIES and enhanced neurodiversity training with team members.

TUI offers package holidays to all three hotels in Ibiza, Larnaca, Dalaman and Antalya, making these sensory rooms easily accessible for holiday makers from Northern Ireland next summer. Visit tui.co.uk for more.
