The Grand Theft Auto VI launch trailer is here. Rockstar Games released it on Thursday 15 October, and it’s the last big look at Vice City before the game finally lands on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on Thursday 19 November 2026.

The 90-second trailer also has a big musical moment. It debuts “Flower in a Hurricane”, a new track from French electronic duo Justice featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Rockstar confirmed that Justice composed the game’s original score.

Rockstar shared the trailer on X with the words:

“Watch the Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer, featuring the debut of ‘Flower in a Hurricane’ from original score composers Justice feat. Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Grand Theft Auto VI arrives November 19.”

Back to Vice City

Rockstar’s official story outline follows Jason and Lucia, who “have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida.”

The Launch Trailer follows Trailer 1 in December 2023, Trailer 2 in May 2025 and a 26-minute extended look released in August. Belfast has a soft spot for the neon-soaked city: back in 2024 we were giving away tickets to a Vice City experience in Belfast.

The soundtrack

Justice have form when it comes to Tame Impala collaborations. Pitchfork notes that “Neverender”, from the duo’s 2024 album Hyperdrama, won them a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Recording in 2025. According to Variety, “Flower in a Hurricane” is also out as a standalone Justice single and appears on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album. Variety reports that the album has 34 original tracks and will be released alongside the game, with artists including Travis Scott, Cardi B, Morgan Wallen and Keith Richards.

What’s next

Grand Theft Auto VI launches on 19 November. A quick heads-up for parents: like every GTA, this one is strictly for grown-ups (expect an 18 rating), with Rockstar’s listing flagging content including blood and gore, intense violence, nudity, strong sexual content, strong language and drug and alcohol use. For gamers across Belfast and N.Ireland it’s the big one this winter. Before you vanish into Leonida, have a look at what’s on in Belfast.
