ON A WINNING STREAK: Ballymena-based hotel Galgorm Resort & Spa has picked up another prestigious award as Northern Ireland’s leading Spa Resort 2013 at the World Travel Awards.
The World Travel Awards which were established in 1993, to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry are recognised globally as the ultimate hallmark of quality, with winners setting the benchmark to which all others aspire.
This recent win is one of numerous accolades Galgorm has been awarded in recent months, which includes Hotel of the year at the Irish Wedding Journal Magazine reader awards and Hotel of the year at the LCN Awards. Having won the regional award Galgorm Resort & Spa will now compete head to head in a final round of voting to decide who will triumph in WTA’s world awards held in Doha, Qatar on 30th November 2013– the ultimate accolade in the travel and tourism industry.
