A Newry-based aesthetics practice is set to open a new state-of-the-art clinic in Belfast’s city centre to meet the growing demands of its patients.
The multi-award winning Younique aesthetics clinic has been successfully established for over the last 15 years in Newry. With a £250,000 investment and the creation of ten new jobs in the process, they are now ready to launch in Belfast.
The clinic has carried out over 20,000 treatments since its inception, many of which are exclusive to Northern Ireland, Younique was named Best Clinic in Ireland last year at the UK and Ireland Aesthetic Awards.
One of the directors Aine Larkin believes there is a gap in the market for a nurse led, reputable aesthetics company and is excited to introduce the company’s portfolio of treatments to a new audience when the Chichester Street clinic opens on 15 November 2019.
She explained: “We have patients who travel from far and wide to avail of our treatments so a second clinic in Belfast city centre just made sense. The demand is there and we occupy a niche role in the aesthetics industry.”
As an NMC (Nursing Midwifery Council) mentor and clinical trainer for a leading pharmaceutical company, Aine regularly holds classes in her medical aesthetics training institute in Newry, enabling the development of professionals within the industry. Despite also being the regional lead of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) in Northern Ireland, Aine is looking forward to the next chapter in the ever changing world of aesthetics.
She said: “I know some other businesses are sitting still waiting to see what happens with Brexit but we’re fortunate enough to be a cross-border business with an established patient list from both north and south. Plus we’ve always been a forward thinking company so now seemed the ideal time to make the move and invest in local jobs and the talent we have here.”
