A Story Told Through ABBA’s Timeless Hits
From West End origins to a global triumph, MAMMA MIA! is Judy Craymer’s brilliant vision of weaving ABBA’s legendary hits into a heart-warming and hilarious tale of love, friendship, and identity.
On a sun-soaked Greek island, a daughter’s quest to discover the identity of her father unfolds into a musical journey full of surprises. With toe-tapping classics like Dancing Queen, Take a Chance on Me, and The Winner Takes It All, the show guarantees pure joy for every generation.
A Global Theatre Sensation
Now in its 27th year, MAMMA MIA! has been seen by over 70 million people worldwide, playing more than 10,000 performances in London’s West End alone. It’s the 9th longest-running show in Broadway history, where it enjoyed a record-breaking 14-year run.
The MAMMA MIA! International Tour has visited 42 countries, delivering more than 3,900 shows to over 7.7 million fans. The show even made history as the first Western musical staged in Mandarin in China.
From Stage to Screen Success
Produced by Judy Craymer, the stage production’s success inspired not one but two record-breaking movies.
MAMMA MIA! The Movie (2008) became the highest-grossing live-action musical film of all time upon release. MAMMA MIA! Here We Go Again (2018) followed as the most successful musical sequel ever.
Both films featured an all-star cast including Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Christine Baranski, Julie Walters, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgård, Dominic Cooper, and Cher.
