Winter In The Sun stacks an Irish alt-rock bill into Limelight 1 on Saturday 1 May 2027, with Cardinals, theatre, Croíthe and Madams Last Discovery — plus a special guest still to be named. Tickets went on sale Friday 28 August via Ticketmaster.ie.
Promoter Winter In The Sun is treating this as a one-room snapshot of the current Irish indie/alt circuit — four names that already pull their own club crowds, sharing a Belfast stage before festival season properly kicks off. It sits neatly beside other 2027 Irish headline traffic we have already flagged, from Fontaines D.C. at Slane to Belsonic’s outdoor run with Kingfishr and Sombr.
- Date: Saturday 1 May 2027
- Venue: Limelight 1, Belfast
- Line-up: Cardinals, theatre, Croíthe, Madams Last Discovery
- Special guest: TBA
- Tickets: On sale now (from Fri 28 Aug) — Ticketmaster.ie
Limelight remains one of the easiest places in the city to catch multi-band Irish bills without jumping to arena scale. Recent and upcoming club traffic — including Chris Boldt in Limelight 2 — shows how quickly those rooms fill when a local-leaning line-up lands. Use our Belfast concerts guide if you need venue basics or ticket-safety notes.
May bank-holiday weekend energy usually suits a stacked bill like this. Grab tickets while the guest slot is still TBA — once that name drops, interest tends to jump. For a free city warm-up before then, Culture Night Belfast 2026 lands on Friday 18 September.
