What’s the TOP 10 most romantic places in Belfast?

Romantic Belfast
Loved-up Belfast sweethearts Deborah Swain and Peter Collins are on the look-out for love with the help of Visit Belfast.

To get everyone in the mood in the run-up to St Valentine’s Day, Visit Belfast is encouraging everyone to vote for their Top 10 most romantic places in Belfast.

The ‘hot spots’ nominated include Belfast Castle, The Merchant Hotel and even a VIP box at the Grand Opera House.

From entries made so far, visitors to the city also seem keen to show their romantic side by getting outdoors, with many suggesting a walk around the stunning grounds of Botanic Gardens or Stormont Estate as an ideal way to spend a loved-up afternoon. Others have opted for a more traditional way of showing they care by taking in a special meal or a drink at one of the city’s many cafes, pubs or restaurants. For example, Oysters at Mourne Seafood Bar and the Crown Liquor Saloon have made it into the shortlist.

Visit Belfast is keen to get your vote on your favourite romantic destination is and is offering one lucky participant a romantic afternoon tea for two.

Voting is open until Friday 14th February at 12 noon.

For anyone who’s still on the look-out for something romantic to do this Valentines weekend, cupid’s help is at hand from the team at the Visit Belfast Welcome Centre who can provide inspiration, ideas and information on the latest visitor attractions and events which offer the perfect way to spend time with your Valentine.
