If you’re looking for something a little different to pop under the tree this year, consider supporting the charity Air Ambulance Northern Ireland (AANI). Whether it’s a weekly donation or purchasing a Christmas bauble, supporting AANI means all proceeds go directly to a worthy cause but also shows your loved ones you’re thinking of them.
AANI, in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS), provides the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for the region. The charity requires £2million each year in fundraising to keep this vital service operational and there are lots of ways you can help support too, whatever your budget.
The best gift for the ultimate AANI enthusiast
For a special gift to last the whole year, consider signing up your friends and family for a membership to Club AANI, the charity’s membership club. Starting from only a £2 donation per week, members receive regular updates from AANI, AANI merchandise and exclusive discounts from top restaurants, clothing brands and travel companies. A membership will help fund life-saving missions all year round.
Membership options are available at airambulanceni.org
On a smaller budget?
There are other ways to support AANI this year, even if you’re just looking for a small stocking filler. For a small gift that won’t break the bank, the AANI classic red Christmas bauble will remind your loved one of the charity for Christmases to come. Another option AANI supporters will love is the AANI red half zip top, that can act as a light jacket in the spring or a warm layer under a coat this winter. AANI has plenty of other options online so visit airambulanceni.org for a full list.
Christmas bauble, £5, and Half Zip, £35, both available at airambulanceni.org.
