Frank Mitchell releases car detox video diary
Frank Mitchell, a self-confessed ‘car addict’ has gone car free in the build-up to Bus + Train Week which runs from 5 to 11 June 2017. Translink threw down the gauntlet to the popular UTV and U105 broadcaster, asking him to give public transport a go for his daily commute from South Belfast to UTV headquarters, weekly business meetings and the presenter’s much loved trips to Kingspan Stadium to see the Ulster boys in action. Bus and Train Week is an initiative to encourage more people to give the bus and train a go, and to emphasise the importance of public transport to the economy and wider society.
