Tourism NI hosted an Experience Development Roadshow in Belfast this week to support businesses to enhance their tourism experiences.

The event at the Canal Court Hotel, which took place on Monday, October 16, was the third in a series of four roadshows across Northern Ireland this autumn.

Attendees were welcomed by Tourism NI’s Head of Experience and Industry Development Eimear Callaghan who set the scene for opportunities over the next twelve months.

Those gathered heard about the evolution of the `Embrace a Giant Spirit’ brand, priorities for product development and future tourism capital investment in Northern Ireland.

Several businesses shared their experiences of responding to challenges and opportunities over the last decade.

Following the presentations, attendees had the opportunity to network and speak to Tourism NI teams on further opportunities for collaboration and development.

Eimear Callaghan said: “We were delighted to bring our third Northern Ireland Embrace A Giant Spirit Experience development roadshow to Newry to engage with a host of tourism businesses in the area.

“This area in particular has been fully engaged on our brand journey and we are looking forward to continuing that productive engagement.

“I hope businesses are now more informed around our thematic priorities and how we can continue to develop Northern Ireland’s tourism appeal through immersive and authentic experiences, driving regional dispersion and spend.”

The final Experience Development Roadshow will take place at the Everglades Hotel in Derry~Londonderry on Monday, October 23.
