Richard Curran counts down the top 25 billionaires and millionaires who have burst onto The Sunday Times Rich List since the year 2000 this Thursday (19 December) at 9.30pm on RTÉ 2 in the final episode of this two-part series produced by Waddell Media.

Richard Curran says: “You need over €200 million to make it into the Top 25 of the Hot Shots list. For the average Irish person that would take around five and a half thousand years to earn, assuming you don’t spend any of it. In this episode we’ll also be looking at Ireland’s booming whiskey industry, where future fortunes can be made.”

David Cumming, Executive Producer, Waddell Media says: “In this series of the Rich List we concentrated on those who’ve made their mark since the turn of the century. This Thursday night we count down the top 25 of Ireland’s 21st century hotshots – teen millionaires, a Hollywood sweetheart who’s also a Derry Girl and some savvy investors all feature, but you’ll have tune in to find out who takes the top spot.”
