The following story has been gathered from hidden files discovered in the derelict home of Professor Thomas Adamson, the man who led his team on an expedition in 1934. This is his story.
Over 80 years ago, a small team of adventurers caught in a terrifying electric storm found themselves in an extraordinary situation. A burst of lightning cut through the darkness and for a brief second, they saw something on the horizon, something not of this world.
As the fog eased, a series of islands appeared before them, an enchanted world that was home to some mythical creatures – DRAGONS. These mythical beasts wished to keep their presence a secret and so the professor promised he would never reveal their existence.
Based on the expedition’s findings, the experience we have created in AMAZE is as close a representation as we can get to the one that the Professor and his incredible team discovered. An exhibition celebrating the true wonder of dragons.
DRAGONS will be taking place in W5’s immersive event space, AMAZE on level 4 of W5.
This walk-through experience will be running daily throughout July and August.*
DRAGONS is FREE with general admission to W5. This experience does not need to be booked separately.
Pre-booking your visit to W5 is essential.
