Get down to Portrush on Saturday July 5 to help celebrate the adventures of legendary Scottish pirate Tavish Dhu with a street parade, re-enactment, fun day, pirate treasure hunt and live music!
Tavish Dhu Portrush’s fearsome pirate returns to the shores of Portrush for yet another day of action packed fun, music and drama on the streets of Portrush.
Having rescued the treasure last year from the Navy, and safely hidden it on the Skerries, Tavish’s 2014 plot involves retrieving the treasure and concealing it in the belly of a VERY LARGE WHALE.
11am Pirate Treasure hunt (go to Ramada Hotel)
1pm Tavish Dhu’s ship, Kraken, on show at the Amphitheatre
2pm Pirate Dress Competition (Station Square)
3pm The Story of Tavish Dhu (theatre) – Station Square, parade to Kerr Street and Antrim Gardens
