THE BOT NAMED NORTHERN IRELAND’S TOP RUGBY PUB
Belfast’s Botanic Inn has been named as Northern Ireland’s best rugby pub by leading online sports paper, theScore.ie. The influential sports website named the Malone Road pub as one of the top six places in Ireland to watch the Six Nations, which kicks off tomorrow when Ireland meet Wales in Cardiff.
The Bot’s range of food, drink and entertainment saw the pub become Northern Ireland’s only venue in the list of top six places to watch rugby, with the other five other bars located in the Republic of Ireland.
The Bot is gearing up for the Six Nations by offering all customers a special book of vouchers which entitles them to a complimentary pint of Guinness on each day of the championship.
Stephen Magorrian, Managing Director of Botanic Inns, said: “It’s an honour to be named as one of Ireland’s top rugby pubs and we’re delighted to be the only pub in Northern Ireland that features on the list.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming fans from all competing nations to the Bot for the championship and I hope they take advantage of our special offers, including a complimentary pint of Guinness for each day of the Six Nations.”
