LEADING ferry company Stena Line has announced it will continue to rule the waves from breakfast time to drive time as the official sponsor of Cool FM’s Breakfast Show Pete Snodden In The Morning and Downtown Radio’s Downtown Drive.

Stena Line has been the main sponsor of Pete Snodden In The Morning, which is Northern Ireland’s largest commercial radio show, for the past 12 years. A huge 261,000 listeners tune in to Pete, Paulo and Rebecca every week from 6am to 10am to join in the fun and hear what the team have been up to.

As well as supporting the early risers, Stena Line has also announced a third year of partnership with Downtown Radio’s Downtown Drive show. Hosted by Neal McClelland, Downtown Drive, airs from 4pm – 7pm on weekdays and reaches over 75,000 listeners each week, keeping commuters entertained and up to date with traffic and travel on their journey home.

Orla Noonan Travel Commercial Manager Irish Sea North at Stena Line said:

“We’re very proud to renew our partnership with Cool FM and Downtown Radio as sponsors of Pete Snodden In The Morning and Downtown Drive. We know our passengers love these shows, so we’re thrilled to help them get their day off to a great start and then enjoy a fun, music-filled drive home!

“We’re delighted to extend our partnership for what, no doubt, will be another year of non-stop entertainment and we look forward to supporting these two great shows.

“This is a really exciting time for Stena Line, with the launch of our brand new ships – Stena Estrid is now sailing from Dublin – Holyhead, Stena Edda sets sail in March on our Belfast – Liverpool route followed by Stena Embla on Belfast – Liverpool in spring 2021,” added Orla.

Simon Mann, Commercial Director Bauer Media NI said of the partnership:

“Having Stena Line onboard once again as sponsor of Pete Snodden In The Morning as well as Downtown Drive is music to our ears! We know that this sponsorship will help us to give listeners exactly what they want – more exclusive giveaways and offers on Stena Line sailings from Belfast to Liverpool and Belfast to Cairnryan.”
