The most recent promotion within Somerville, is Cara Norman to Fit-Out Site Manager. The company was delighted to see Cara move into this non-traditional role and hopes it will encourage other females to strive for a career in the fit-out and construction industry.

I am loving my new role as Fit-Out Site Manager. Every day is completely different – I really enjoy working with my team and the various trades I interact with. I know this is a very male dominated industry but I’m really enjoying the challenge. My site team have the utmost respect for me and my position in the company. The only issue I have is getting a pair of work boots to fit me as I’m only a size 2½!
