Northern Ireland’s biggest band is heading west for a special run. Snow Patrol will play four acoustic nights at the Millennium Forum in Derry this October, marking the venue’s 25th anniversary year — a proper Snow Patrol Millennium Forum Derry date stamp for the diary.
Dates are Tuesday 13, Wednesday 14, Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October 2026, with a 7pm start each night. An MCD presentation. Subject to licence.
Frontman Gary Lightbody said: “We are delighted to announce four shows in Derry/Londonderry next month for the 25th anniversary year of the fantastic Millennium Forum. We’re so happy to be playing Derry again as it’s been a little while since the last show. J is from there and my family is from there and so we have a deep connection to the city. It’s always great fun to be back. We hope you’ll join us – Peace and love. gL. x”
It sits on solid home-turf momentum. Snow Patrol packed Belsonic in Belfast last June, played two nights at the SSE Arena in February 2025, and filled the Ulster Hall in September 2024 — nights we covered as they landed. The Forest Is The Path hit UK No.1 in 2024; separately, a summer 2026 Ireland outdoor run includes Dublin’s St Anne’s Park on 31 May. For this story, though, the lead is Derry in October.
