Following a successful Harvest Festival event in stores this autumn, Tesco Northern Ireland has made a significant donation of harvest vegetables to homeless shelter, Rosemount House.

Marking his arrival to the store and part of a wider commitment to supporting the local Antrim Road community, the donation was made and hand delivered by Andrew Kerr, who took up the post of Antrim Road Store Manager in September of this year.

Providing shelter and supported housing to men suffering from addiction and mental health since 1988, Rosemount House has 20 permanent residents at any one time as well as an outreach programme at weekends where it provides soup to homeless people in the greater Belfast area. Tesco Northern Ireland donated enough vegetables to make soup for 20-30 people.
