READY, SET, GO! BPerfect ‘Mega Store’ is LIVE!

Queen of the Jungle and former EastEnders star, Jacqueline Jossa, was joined by hundreds of socially-distanced BPerfect fans today, as she launched the hugely-anticipated, BPerfect Cosmetics flagship Mega Store in CastleCourt Shopping Centre.

The brand new, 2,500 square foot mega store was opened to a fanfare of colour, spectacle and splendor as CastleCourt welcomed the first-of-its kind ‘Instagram make-up superstore’, to the centre. Set to be a complete ‘game-changer’ in the UK and Irish beauty retail sector, the ‘fully inclusive’ shop has amazing interior décor which ‘pushes every boundary’ housing a range of ten top beauty brands from top make-up artists and cosmetics retailers.

Jacqueline went live with the The BPerfect Jac Jossa 1 Hour Express Tanning Mousse and The Jac Jossa Hydro Glo Tanning Facial Mist BPerfect collaboration, yesterday, and said she was blown away by the style, layout and products in the store.

Commenting at the opening Jacqueline said: “This store, our new Tan collaboration, the layout, the products – every single thing is quite simply out-of-this-world and has exceeded every single expectation.

“I want every single product right now! It is honestly so amazing. I want to express my sincerest congratulations to Brendan and the amazing team.

“To see our product on the shelves is such an amazing feeling. It is without doubt the best tanning product I have ever used – and smells divine.

“We went live online yesterday at 4pm and the sales just went through the roof. It was all hands-on-deck in the packing room – with my mum and I included in that! It was so much fun. I cannot wait for the customers to come into the store and see the products for themselves.”

Founder and CEO of BPerfect Cosmetics, Brendan McDowell, said: “This past few days has been such a whirlwind and a real dream come true.

“I cannot believe we have finally arrived at this exciting day after many months of zoom meetings, late night calls and brainstorming sessions with Jacqueline and the BPerfect team.

“It is a very proud moment in our journey and to be opening in the midst of a pandemic has its challenges, but It also has its opportunities, which is why we have forged ahead with our plans.

“We have such a strong team and I am very grateful to each and every one of them for helping us to get to this point.

“I am also grateful to our loyal customers who supported us so much when we were in lock-down. Our sales were so strong and that was another factor in us getting to this point.”

Brendan McDowell, originally from Newcastle, County Down, is a true Northern Ireland success story. He founded BPerfect in Belfast in 2012, with a personal investment of just £500. He appeared on RTE’s Dragons Den in 2017 and turned down a €80K investment offer. Since then he’s worked hard to develop a brand that now enjoys cult-like status amongst celebs, style influencers and beauty devotees across the globe. Over 2,000 retailers worldwide now stock its extensive range of on-trend makeup, a figure that is growing daily.  This next stage of the journey ensures their place as the leading beauty brand in Ireland.

Brendan continued: “I am committed to making sure that this store will be very different from any other make-up retailer anywhere in the world. It will feature top Instagram brands like our own and others such as Lunar Beauty from Manny MUA, and Doll Beauty to Voduz and Mrs Glam – it is solely aimed for people who love to have the latest ‘must have’ beauty product and still want to have a very special experiential retail experience.

“The store will be inclusive, welcoming for all age-groups, genders and somewhere where shoppers can view and try the hottest products on the globe from a range of over ten brands.

“I also want to give back to the community of Northern Ireland for their unwavering loyalty. We plan to work in partnership with local charities to help those in need by welcoming them to the store to help boost their confidence and self-belief.”

“Tonight’s opening saw Jacqueline work on our tan stand in the store selling the new product; The BPerfect Jac Jossa 1 Hour Express Tanning Mousse and The Jac Jossa Hydro Glo Tanning Facial Mist BPerfect.

“She was joined by Stacey Marie who showcased our top selling BPerfect Carnival Palette and Louise McDonnell from LMD who revealed our next collaboration. And the amazing Michelle Regazolli Stone AKA ‘Mrs Makeup’ who demonstrated some unbelievable looks, live on social media.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the team at CastleCourt for being so welcoming and supportive of our new venture, especially as we are opening midst a pandemic.”

Leona Barr, Centre Manager at CastleCourt said: “CastleCourt Shopping Centre are thrilled to welcome BPerfect Cosmetics to our scheme.

“It is very welcome news to see the creation of new jobs in Belfast.

“We wish Brendan and the team every success in the new store and look forward to welcoming the BPerfect cosmetic customers”
