There’s still time to register your team in the inaugural Ulster Rugby Charity Tag Festival, to be hosted at Belfast Harlequins RFC on Saturday 8th August.

With 24 teams expected to battle it out for some top prizes, cheered on by members of the Ulster Rugby squad, it promises to be a great day out for participants and spectators alike. All proceeds will go towards Ulster Rugby’s charity partner for the 2015/16 season.

The list of prizes includes:
– VIP package for 12 people for the Ulster v Leinster pre-season game at Kingspan Stadium
– 12 tickets and bar passes for the Ulster v Leinster pre-season game at Kingspan Stadium
– £200 Kukri vouchers
– 12 passes for Culloden Estate & Spa
– Plus loads more team and individual prizes for star performers.

The competition is open to males and females aged 16+ years and entries are invited from rugby clubs, schools, social groups and the business community.

Matches will be played on a 7-a-side basis and teams must have a minimum of two females on the pitch at any one time. As matches will be played throughout the day, it is recommended that squads have 12 members (at least four females) to allow for rest periods and rotations.

*Please note: the festival will start mid-morning. Exact timings will be confirmed prior to the event.

The Ireland v Wales World Cup warm up game will be televised in the clubhouse bar from 2.30pm, adding to the rugby atmosphere on the day. There will also be a BBQ (burger/hot-dog) provided for all participants.
