Following a highly successful first month of serving unique dishes using locally-sourced ingredients, co-owners Chef Marty Murphy and Niall Davis of Belfast’s Howard Street restaurant held a friends and media event on Monday 2nd December to celebrate the restaurant’s early successes.

Guests sampled canapés including sliders with caramelised onion relish, mushroom risotto balls, and Vietnamese rolls as well as enjoying bespoke cocktails like a refreshing gin and tonic with a wedge of grapefruit, mojitos, and the delicious Sgroppino Prosecco cocktail mixed of AKA vodka and house-made lemon sherbet.
The gin and tonic on the night was Ish Gin with 1724 Tonic and a slice of pink grapefruit. The Mojito’s where made using Atlantico Plantino Rum.
All of which were on show as a way to introduce them to Northern Ireland audience and gather reaction, all of which was highly positive. Hopefully you will see them pop up in more bars and restaurants around Belfast in the coming months.
