Something mysterious has landed in the heart of Belfast – and it’s already getting people talking.

A giant block of ice containing a mystery item has appeared at Victoria Square, sparking plenty of speculation among shoppers, commuters and visitors passing through the city centre.

But what exactly is frozen inside?

The unusual installation is part of a teaser campaign from O2, with the contents remaining under wraps as the ice slowly melts away.

Can You Guess What’s Inside?

Over the next 48 hours, passers-by will be able to watch the giant ice sculpture gradually disappear, revealing more clues about the mystery object trapped inside.

And there’s an added incentive to get involved.

Anyone who thinks they know what the mystery item is can take a photo or video with the sculpture, share it to their social media story or post, tag @O2UK and submit their guess.

Those who correctly identify the item will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win the mystery item themselves.

A Big Belfast Reveal Is Coming

The installation has certainly added a little mystery to Victoria Square, with Belfast now left guessing what O2 could possibly have frozen inside.

One thing is certain – it won’t stay hidden for long.

If you’re passing through Belfast city centre over the next couple of days, keep an eye on the ice, look closely for clues and get your guess in before the mystery is finally revealed.

What do you think is frozen inside? 👀🧊
