MCM Northern Ireland Comic Con blasts back to the Eikon Exhibition Centre in 2017 on Saturday 24 June, for a pop-culture weekend extravaganza featuring everything from comics, movies, games and sci-fi to cosplay, anime, steampunk and online video. Here’s a look at some of the great special guests who’ll be joining us at the show:
MCM has an exciting line-up of special guests including Kristin Bauer van Straten, most famously known for her vampiric role as calculating and hilariously sarcastic Pamela Swynford De Beaufort in True Blood, and sorceress Maleficent in US series Once Upon a Time.
Firefly’s Summer Glau, who played runaway psychic assassin Rover Tam in Joss Whedon’s much-loved sci-fi western and its film follow-up Serenity will also be appearing at MCM Northern Ireland Comic Con alongside Sam J. Jones, best known as the all-American hero of sci-fi classic Flash Gordon and also Manu Bennett from Arrow, The Hobbit and Spartacus.

For animation fans, we have a special anime guest in the form of voice acting talent Vic Mignogna, the voice of Edward Elric in Full Metal Alchemist and Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Also appearing at MCM Northern Ireland Comic Con is Nolan North, known for his work on Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, Con Man and Pretty Little Liars, and Troy Baker, known for The Last of Us, BioShock Infinite and Batman: Arkham Knight.
Elsewhere at MCM Comic Con, you’ll find a host of amazing comic book artists and writers, Asian culture celebrations, steampunk and children’s entertainment.
And then, of course, there are the awesome exhibitors and retailers, including movie studios, videogame and comic book publishers, anime and manga distributors, and much, much more.
