Luxury lakeside cabin retreat, Birch Cabins, set within the grounds of Florida Manor in Co. Down, has launched a new offering designed especially for groups, in partnership with two local experience providers, Strangford Lough Activity Centre and Tracey’s Farmhouse Kitchen.
Perfect for corporate retreats and team-building initiatives, sports clubs and teams, family celebrations and reunions, the new packages give groups the opportunity to combine a stay at Birch Cabins with a choice of memorable local experiences.
Groups booking three or more cabins will receive 25% off their accommodation costs when they also book an experience with either Strangford Lough Activity Centre or Tracey’s Farmhouse Kitchen.
The launch of these new partnerships builds on the Birch Cabins’ commitment to working alongside neighbouring businesses to further promote and boost tourism in the Ards and North Down area, while also enhancing the overnight guest experience.

Available to book between Sunday through to Friday, the two new packages include:
Birch Cabins x Strangford Lough Activity Centre
For groups seeking out some water-based adventures, Strangford Lough Activity Centre offers a wide choice of outdoor experiences.
Located on the Whiterock Road, the activity centre delivers instructor-led services including canoeing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and boat tours, all within the sheltered waters of Strangford Lough. Welcoming all levels, equipment is provided for each activity and is tailored based on weather conditions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience on the water. For those who prefer to stay dry, the activity centre also offers on-land activities including e-bike tours and hill-walking.
Designed to develop practical skills while promoting team-building in a fun and safe environment, Strangford Lough Activity Centre boasts picturesque views for guests to see the natural beauty of County Down.

Birch Cabins x Tracey’s Farmhouse Kitchen
For those who are looking to experience the warmest of welcomes in an authentic Irish kitchen, Tracey’s Farmhouse Kitchen invites guests to taste the tradition of authentic home-baked classics.
Nestled in the roaming countryside of Killinchy, guests are invited into Tracey’s cosy thatched-roof cottage. Tea and coffee alongside some delicious homemade treats are served on arrival, before Tracey guides guests through a traditional soda bread-making experience, using griddles to bake the sodas within 15 minutes.
After the breadmaking is complete, a fresh serving of tea and coffee is provided, with the option of relaxing in the cottage itself or al fresco in the gardens with the company of Tracey’s pet geese and ducks.

The group packages are available Sunday to Friday, subject to availability. Terms and Conditions apply. Groups must book a minimum of three cabins and an experience with either Strangford Lough Activity Centre or Tracey’s Farmhouse Kitchen to receive the 25% accommodation discount. Use code Strangford25 or Tracey25 when prompted for a discount code.
