Review: Lough Erne Resort – The Gateway to North West Ireland

Lough Erne Resort LoveBelfast
This luxurious hotel is absolutely stunning. From the moment I walked in, I felt as though I was walking into a masterpiece.

Winner of Hotel of the Year 2017, Lough Erne Resort, is a luxurious 5-Star hotel in Enniskillen, the gateway to North West Ireland.

Deluxe Lakeview Suite

For the ultimate luxury experience in Fermanagh,we enjoyed break to The Richard Cassells Deluxe Lakeview Suite, with stunning views directly overlooking Castle Hume Lough, The Faldo Course and Fermanagh Lakelands. Our Lakeview Suite was incredibly spacious and feature a king size four-poster bed, separate lounge area, dressing area and large bathroom with jacuzzi .
Our suite was just a perfect place to relax and unwind and we settled in very quickly!

The Thai Spa

Guests can enjoy a unique Thai inspired experience from the luxury treatment menu using award winning ESPA products.  The Thermal Suite and Infinity pool at The Thai Spa are complimentary for hotel guests.

Dinner at the restaurant Catalina(Proud winner of Hotel Restaurant of the Year 2017 (Food and Wine Awards) Menus by acclaimed chef, Noel McMeel specialising in quality Irish Meats and Seafood )

In the evening of our arrival, we enjoyed an amazing dinner at the hotel’s restaurant Catalina , It had such a lovely atmosphere and again, the service was friendly and warm – the staff could not have done more to make us feel welcome thank you to a lovely French girl Lou and the restaurant manager Rachel!

The menu and wine list is very good. The Kilkeel crab and scallop with an orange purée was divine and for main course ordered the Signature Dish – Lough Erne Pork Dish – reflecting the very best of local produce from Fermanagh. Pork Fillet, Pork Belly, Pork Cheek, Ham Cock and Black Pudding. Mouth-wateringly good.! – followed by the most exquisite rice pudding – Absolutely delicious!

There is also the nice option of pairing wine with each course or dish on the menu.

In the morning, guests of Lough Erne Resort can enjoy breakfast in the same restaurant where dinner is served. The breakfast itself is a mixture of a buffet and à la carte options. I love hotel breakfasts, so helped myself to quite a lot, both hot and cold. I had quite the spread in front of me when the toast arrived too, but it really was lovely and finished off what was a very luxurious and comfortable stay at Lough Erne resort.

With fabulous service, gorgeous views and delicious food, we think that Lough Erne Resort is fantastic!

Thanks for the warm welcome of the attentive staff and their attitude. One Of My Favorite Places To Stay In Fermanagh
