Robert Forshaw, owner of Footsteps NI, said “Over the last 10 years we have built up a reputation for providing top quality, interactive and entertaining Murder mystery events. When the pandemic struck suddenly we found all our events cancelled and myself and the talented performers who work for us, found ourselves at home and to be honest feeling a little sorry for ourselves. One night I decided I needed to do something creative and as soon as I suggested putting together a Free online murder mystery for the general public to enjoy from their own home, to brighten up the shutdown period, our guys jumped at the chance to be involved. Two weeks later and “The Bootlegger’s Downfall” was launched.” With a full evening of entertainment, menu suggestions, cocktail recipes, cookery demonstrations from Lynn Currie of “Lynn Loves Cakes and musical interlude by Daire O’Hagan the whole family is bound to be entertained.
The performance was all filmed from home and used a variety of video chat formats and social media outlets. With just under two weeks left to avail of this free event, anyone wishing to play along at home and fill a waking hour or so can go to Footsteps NI Facebook or Instagram pages for details and links to the event.
