Landman Season 3 Is Coming — But Don’t Believe Every Viral Preview

If your social feed has suddenly filled with dramatic promises about Landman season three, you’re probably already reaching for the remote. Preferably with a strong drink and absolutely no intention of answering a work call.

There is good news: Paramount+ has renewed Landman for a third season. However, the fan post circulating with a 2026 label and a bumper 14-episode run gets ahead of the confirmed information. Paramount+ has not announced a premiere date or episode count in its official season-three guide.

That means the excitement is justified. The calendar entry can wait.

Created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, the drama follows Billy Bob Thornton’s Tommy Norris through the oil business in West Texas. Its appeal is easy to understand: enormous money, difficult personalities and the sort of working day that makes your own inbox look positively relaxing.

For us, the most enticing prospect is more time with a character whose professional and personal problems rarely seem willing to form an orderly queue. Forget switching off after work. In this world, the next headache appears to have your mobile number.

The circulating caption promises corporate espionage, fractured alliances and an expanded season. Those details should be treated as unverified fan material: Paramount+’s guide does not provide an official season-three synopsis. It also does not confirm a full cast list, so the repost’s inclusion of Jon Hamm should not be read as a casting announcement. Source: Paramount+.

Our hope for the next chapter? Give the characters room to feel the consequences. Bigger deals and bigger confrontations can be entertaining, but a difficult conversation can land harder than another expensive disaster. The strongest continuation would make success feel complicated and loyalty feel costly.

And while 14 episodes might sound like a treat, a tightly written season matters far more than the number beside it. Nobody needs four extra hours of people looking concerned beside a pickup truck.

Season three will stream on Paramount+, according to the platform’s official guide. For now, consider it firmly on the watchlist — with the release date still to come.
