Local bakery brand, Kingsmill recently celebrated the launch of their new white bread offering; Great White, by challenging consumers to take part in a blind taste test to see if they could tell the difference between the loaf and another white bread at this year’s Balmoral Show.
Kingsmill Great White, which looks smells and tastes like white bread has been introduced into the local market place – but with a twist.
Boosted with wheat fibre to give it as much fibre as wholemeal bread, the Great White loaf provides a healthier alternative for families without compromising on taste.
Consumers, who were encouraged to visit the Kingsmill Great White stand and enjoy samples of the product, were also asked to don a blindfold to take part in the trial.
With overwhelmingly positive feedback, the majority of consumers were unable to tell the difference between the two white bread loaves.
