Grammy Award Winning Engineer, Producer and Author Khaliq Glover, whose clients include Prince, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Kenny Rogers, Diana Ross, Christina Aguilera to name but a few is coming to Cultúrlann on the Falls Road, Belfast next Thursday 12th March.

Khaliq will share A list mixing and production techniques, which will include a Q+A and this session is open to the public.

While Khaliq is here, he will be collaborating with a local singer / songwriter Jommac who invited him over from Los Angeles.  Jommac says;

“Over the past few years I have written songs with Khaliq, who has become a mentor and close friend.  Even though Khaliq, like many people in Belfast, grew up in a working class area of deprivation, he fulfilled his potential and dreams through sheer drive, determination and hard work. His seminars are going to be so inspiring, as well as educational.”

While Khaliq is in Belfast, he is also going to host an intimate master-class at AMPS Studios in Conway Mill. As well as an Open Session in Cultúrlann on Thursday 12th March. AMPS senior Engineer and Music-Technology Trainer, Craig Sheridan, says;

“We’re very excited that Khaliq is visiting Belfast. It’s inspirational to have an engineer of his caliber delivering workshops with AMPS Studio at Cultúrlann Theatre, in Belfast. His skills have been developed with A-list clients for over 25 years and to learn from him will be a privilege. At AMPS, our goal is to help artists and learners to develop skills and achieve their ambitions. This is an extension of that on a bigger scale. Special thanks has to go Joe McNally and the Arts Council who helped us realise these events. Tickets can be reserved at

Tickets for Khaliq Glover’s event at The Culturlann is open to the public.  For further information and bookings check out
