The countdown is on to the launch of the country’s first LGBT+ radio station!

Juice1038 is set to hit the airwaves locally across Greater Belfast on 103.8FM in the coming week, with an official launch date of August 4th, Pride Day in Belfast!

Juice1038 is a first if it’s kind radio station for Northern Ireland and will serve the LGBT+ community in Greater Belfast on FM and will be able to be heard outside the city through the stations website (JuiceBelfast.com) and through third party listening apps such as TuneIn Radio.
A spokesperson for Juice1038; “LGBT+ people come from all walks of life, and it is our aim to serve as many of our community as possible through an outgoing and inclusive presentation style mixed with speech content tailored for our audience, and a unique music mix heard nowhere else on Northern Irish radio.
 
Juice will play a mix of upfront and classic dance, remixes, carefully selected Top 40 and gay classics. 
Our speech content will be of particular interest to the LGBT+ community, including LGBT+ news bulletins and a local issues show which will showcase and discuss the aspirations, concerns, successes and issues affecting our target audience.”
The station is currently streaming a sample service online through JuiceBelfast.com, and test transmissions will be heard across Greater Belfast on 103.8FM from Monday July 23rd!
