Hotel Alone: Lost at Lough Erne

Hotel Alone: Lost at Lough Erne

A five-star resort in Ireland has released details of an exclusive, limited-edition Christmas package, inspired by one of the all-time festive movie favourites.

The Hotel Alone: Lost at Lough Erne package at the Lough Erne Resort is offering the ultimate seasonal getaway to fans of the cult 90s Home Alone films.

Guests will live like Kevin McAllister for the day, enjoying an in-suite trolley laden with bowls of Glastry Farm ice cream complete with a selection of toppings and sauces, and candy jars full of cookies, marshmallows and jellybeans.

A cheese pizza will be delivered by room service before settling down in bathrobes to watch Home Alone 1 & 2 in the comfort of one of the resort’s loughview suites.

The resort has also partnered with Ireland’s famous Belleek Pottery to create its own ‘Turtle Dove’ Christmas tree ornaments made famous by the second movie as a keepsake for all who book the package.

The one-night get away comes with all the usual trimmings that can be expected from a stay at the luxury resort including an indulgent breakfast in the Catalina Restaurant and access to the Infinity Pool at the Thai Spa.
