The charity need 20 sofa critics to volunteer to step up to the strictly stage, all to raise vital funds for their community groups, including Aspire homework club, Fusion Youth Club, Over 50’s lunch club, Weekly Drop in and Mums & Tots.

Rehearsals will begin on Tuesday 26th March at 7pm, at the Skainos Centre on the Newtownards Road, and will continue each Tuesday night for 8 weeks, finishing with a sparkling final show in the Stormont Hotel, Belfast on 8th June 2019.

Hannah Ferguson, Aspire project Co-Ordinator said, “Funds raised from our glittering strictly challenge will be vital towards the work of East Belfast Mission’s Church and Community groups.  Every week a wide range of social, spiritual and support groups offer friendship and community to local people of all ages.

“The groups reduce isolation and enable people to build relationships with their peers, making East Belfast Mission a place where everyone is welcome, encouraged and empowered to fulfil their potential.”
