Two of Belfast’s own just stepped onto one of country music’s biggest stages. Eliza and Charlotte Getty — the eldest two of The Getty Girls — made their Grand Ole Opry debut as a duo on Saturday 5 September 2026, joining parents Keith and Kristyn Getty for Irish Eyes on the OPRY 100 bill at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.

The night also featured The Oak Ridge Boys, Tommy Emmanuel, Charles Esten and more. For a Northern Ireland family already known for hymn writing and arena nights at home, this was a different kind of landmark — Nashville’s circle, Irish bloodline, daughters centre stage.

Who, where, when

Who: Eliza & Charlotte Getty (duo debut) with Keith & Kristyn Getty
Song: Irish Eyes
Where: Grand Ole Opry House, Nashville
When: Saturday 5 September 2026 — OPRY 100 bill
Also on the bill: The Oak Ridge Boys, Tommy Emmanuel, Charles Esten and more

The Getty Girls

Eliza and Charlotte sit alongside sisters Grace and Tahlia as The Getty Girls. Their CV already reads like a tour diary: Carnegie Hall, the Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera House, a GMA Dove Award for Hymns from Home, plus Evensong and Confessio: Irish American Roots. This Opry bow puts the eldest two in a room that has defined American roots music for a century — with an Irish song in their hands.

Belfast roots, Nashville night

Keith and Kristyn Getty are GRAMMY-nominated artists and hymn writers with deep Northern Ireland ties — LoveBelfast has followed their Home for Christmas returns and earlier Grammy nomination news. Eliza and Charlotte’s debut keeps that story local even when the stage is Tennessee: NI daughters, Irish repertoire, Opry lights.
