Aiken Promotions last night confirmed that the proposal to hold matinee shows will not be feasible.
It follows a meeting between Peter Aiken of Aiken Promotions and the Chief Executive of Dublin City Council Owen Keegan which will see five Garth Brooks concerts go ahead at Croke Park-over three days.
In a statement, the City Council has agreed to a proposal from Aiken Promotions designed to break the impasse that has arisen.
Under the proposal the three concerts will proceed -but the Saturday and Sunday concerts will start earlier- to facilitate separate matinee show on the two days
In a statement issued, Aiken Promotions confirmed that the proposal to hold matinees on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th July will not be feasible
