CITB NI, the Industry Training Board for the construction industry, has announced a two-part webinar workshop delivered in partnership with InterTradeIreland.
Advanced tendering in the public sector construction market, part of the Go2Tender programme, is a free interactive webinar which will take place across two days, 20th and 27th May. It is designed for construction businesses who want to grow significantly within the public sector market.
The webinar series will focus on identifying the large opportunities emerging in public sector construction across UK and Ireland. It will also focus on how experienced companies can find another level in bid success through consortium development, joint ventures and better bid writing.
CITB NI Chief Executive, Barry Neilson, said:
“Throughout the current pandemic crisis CITB NI has strived to ensure that we guide, support and help the NI construction industry by providing access to necessary and appropriate training and support services. We are delighted to continue this support through a two-part webinar workshop in partnership with InterTradeIreland. Free to construction employers, the webinars will offer helpful advice as well as guide participants on how they can ‘do their best work’ in preparing and submitting tenders which will help place them in the best position to win more public sector construction across UK and Ireland.”
Caroline Sweeney, InterTradeIreland, added:
‘As the construction sector takes steps to reopen, it is a good time to challenge ourselves – to challenge the approach that we take to the market, and to tendering for & winning business. This Advanced Tendering webinar series, on 20th and 27th May will provide an update on the market opportunities and pipelines, and will challenge us all to improve our approach to bidding – both individually, and as part of a consortium. The webinars will involve leading figures in the construction industry – leaders in providing market insights, consortium development, and managing & winning large bids across the UK, Ireland, and internationally.’
