Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor John Finucane, visited the headquarters of Saint Vincent de Paul (SVP) to help pack toys for the joint Christmas Family Appeal with The Salvation Army. This year’s appeal aims to provide more than 100,000 children living in poverty in Northern Ireland with a gift to wake up to on Christmas morning and by purchasing just one extra gift when doing your Christmas shopping you can help make a difference. All gifts must be new and unwrapped. For details of where to deliver your gift visit www.svpireland.ie or www.salvationarmy.org.uk
