East Belfast’s own is back on home turf this weekend. Chris Boldt brings the full band — and special guests The Sazeracs — into Limelight 2 on Saturday 5 September 2026, with tickets on sale now at Ticketmaster.ie.
Boldt’s lane is contemporary folk and alt-country: warm voice, sharp songwriting, and a live show that lands harder with the band behind him. Born and raised in East Belfast, he has spent the last two years living in Montana, then came home to record his new single Eighteen 22. That return-to-base moment is exactly the mood for a Limelight night — local roots, bigger rooms, full band.
If you already know the catalogue, expect the favourites in the mix: Heaven’s Eyes (reported by his team at around 17 million Spotify streams), plus Made For More, Dreams, Me and Mine, and Me Myself and I. If you are new to him, this is a clean first-listen night in a room that suits the material.
Belfast is one stop on a six-date Irish run with the full band this September. The rest of the map, for context: Galway’s Róisín Dubh (3rd), Derry’s Nerve Centre (4th), Dublin’s Whelan’s (10th), Cork’s Wavelength (11th), and Limerick’s Dolans (12th). For LoveBelfast readers, the one that matters is Ormeau Avenue on the 5th.
