BEFAST FESTIVAL AT QUEEN’S
Big Big Sing is a UK-wide celebration of singing, encouraging the nation to start enjoying the health and well-being benefits of singing. Following a full programme of events this year including workshops and flashmob choirs up and down the UK and a spectacular Big Big BIG Sing day in Glasgow during the 2014 Commonwealth Games – Big Big Sing are heading to Whitla Hall, Queen’s University for Belfast Festival at Queen’s on Saturday 25th October, don’t miss out!
As part of the Belfast Festival at Queen’s, Big Big Sing will host one of their renowned Big Big Sing Sessions in Whitla Hall where everyone, no matter what their age or ability, is invited to come along to learn and sing together as a choir. The day will be led by inspirational choir masters Eugene Skeef and Stephen Deazley and participants can also enjoy workshops in Gaelic Scottish Mouth Music with Joy Dunlop, Indian Singing with Ranjana Ghatak and Signing Songs with Ali Wood from The Kaos Signing Choir for Deaf and Hearing Children.

“We are delighted to be part of Belfast Festival at Queen’s this year, we hosted a Northern Irish Big Big Sing day in Ballymena earlier this year and the people and the atmosphere on the day were fantastic. I would strongly encourage everyone, even if you have never sang in a choir or in public before to come along and give it try it is a great opportunity to have some fun, meet new people and learn something new. I challenge anyone not to leave at 5pm with a big smile on their face.”
