The Belfast Giants Challenge Cup fixture against Dundee Stars at The O2 Belfast is going ahead tonight — with a delayed face-off after travel disruption affected the visiting team.
The club has confirmed updated timings for supporters.
Delayed face-off confirmed
Due to travel disruption, the face-off time for this evening’s Challenge Cup fixture has been pushed back.
The game will still go ahead as planned, with face-off now set for 8:30pm.
Doors open: 7pm
Face-off: 8:30pm
The Giants apologised for any inconvenience and thanked fans for their patience and understanding.
Please note: face-off remains subject to change based on Dundee Stars’ arrival time.
Earlier travel disruption
Earlier today, the Giants said they were working with the Motorpoint Elite Ice Hockey League and Dundee Stars after Stena Line disruption delayed the visitors’ journey to Belfast.
A sailing message had stated: “Due to a technical issue with our other ship, this sailing will be delayed by around 60 mins.”
That uncertainty has now been resolved into a confirmed late start rather than a postponement.
What supporters need to know
Anyone heading to The O2 Belfast should use the updated times above and continue to check the Belfast Giants’ official website and social channels for any further changes.
