Back for another year, the annual Belfast Craft Beer Festival has returned to Custom House Square for the weekend Fri 1st June – Sun 3rD June, with the new popular addition of a Gin Garden.
There isn’t much you should have to do to convince anyone in Northern Ireland that a combined Beer & Gin Festival, featuring just-around-the-corner craft beers and locally distilled gin is a good idea – but here it is.
Under a well thought out tent you’ll find Irish brewers such as Boyne Brewhouse, O’Hara’s and Barra Hooley to name a few. Not a fan of beer but attracted to the bright lights of an outdoor festival? Try some Shortcross cocktails or a Rhubarb Cider from Toby’s Cider. Need to line the stomach for your beer and gin tasting? The many food vendors including Street Dogs, Bella Pizza and Mexican Street Food will keep you covered.
With hedgerow seats to sit on and jenga, ping pong and live music – this is a more chilled out event than what Custom House Square is used to but offers a welcome atmosphere for craft beer fans and gin followers to share in their favourite beverages under the Belfast sun.
