Belfast Christmas lights switch-on

Come to Belfast as the city gets festive and join the Lord Mayor and her special guests, Bing and Flop, The Twirlywoos and Milkshake Live’s Derek and Jen, as we light up for Christmas.

This year’s event will also feature Cool FM’s roadshow with the Breakfast team Pete, Paulo and Rebecca as well live music from Cavehill Primary School choir and a special message from none other than Santa Claus himself.

Ticket information

Tickets go on release on at 9am on Friday 3 November and can be sourced online or in person from Visit Belfast Welcome Centre. Tickets are limited to four per booking, and this year, for your convenience, we’ve added a ‘print at home’ option. Should you choose this option you must click through to download the ticket as the email confirmation will not suffice.

Tickets booked for collection must be picked up by 5pm on Thursday 16 November. If you require accessible viewing for the event please call 028 9024 6609 on Friday 3 November, these are limited to two per booking due to restricted capacity. Terms and conditions apply.

Please note that there will be traffic restrictions and diversions in place within Belfast’s City Centre from mid-afternoon on Saturday 18 November due to the Christmas light switch-on, so please allow time for your journey.

Gates will open on the evening at 6pmwith live entertainment on stage from this time.
